But unfortunately the recommended solution didn't fix our PCs. because this seems like the exact issue we've been having. Unfortunately, the PC is still working lol. The only working Win10 PC was on version 1703, so we updated that to 1709 hoping it would break IE and then that would basically prove it was something with the 1709 version. We thought the problem may be related to the 1709 Fall Creator update. We also discovered another Windows10 computer that has this issue. Update: It's all downloads that are not working. When we get our replacement Win7 PC, while troubleshooting this we may remove it from our domain and see if that fixes the issue (to your point DMGould). We have several OUs with different policies applied to them and the problem is happening in all of them. My coworker and I (my coworker is much more knowledgeable than I am when it comes to GPO) were looking at all the settings and we didn't see anything that stood out that could cause a conflict. And yes, I have wiped out the internet cache and did a reset of Internet Explorer completely. We're downloading from an internal webserver. Checked the security settings/zones and trusted sites and everything looks normal.
